An honest repair shop will always say "no." Here's why: Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance carrier. It basically says that if you have a collision loss, you are responsible for the first portion of repairs (your deductible).
Conspiring to "Bury The Deductible" is insurance Fraud and is against the law. Insurance company appraisers know the costs of repairs and cannot be fooled by inflated prices. If an auto body shop agrees to "Bury The Deductible" it has to take short cuts in making repairs with the owner getting a second rate job, which will depreciate the value of the vehicle at trade in time. Remember, an auto body shop that will cheat the insurance company will cheat the customer, too.
That is your choice. We can set up an appointment for you, or you can drop in during our hours (Mon, Tue, Thu: 7:30am - 5pm; Wed, Fri 7:30am - 6pm ; Sat 9am - noon) and we will assist you right away.
Please allow approximately 15 minutes for the estimate to be written. If there is substantial damage, or you have an unusual vehicle (such as a specialty sports car), it may take up to 30 minutes to inspect your vehicle and write the estimate.
Remember, with our e-Estimate option available under the service area of this site, you can upload 1-3 photos and your vehicle information and we will get back to you usually within 24 hours.
Drop offs welcome! Please drop off your vehicle, or if it is not drivable, call us to have it towed in. We will photograph your vehicle and write an estimate for you. If you choose to use your insurance, tell them your vehicle is at Northeast Collision for repairs.
We start work on your vehicle as soon as we get insurance approval. For many insurance companies we are a Direct Repair Shop and can begin your car repairs immediately. From that point, it depends on the extent of the damage and work to be done. However, we will give you an estimated timeline and keep you informed of the progress on your vehicle throughout the repair process. And be sure to ask us about our One Day Repairs!
The vehicle may be washed immediately. We recommend using a mild car soap.
We recommend waiting 90 days after repair before the first wax.
The deductible is the owner's portion of an insurance claim. The amount of the deductible is determined at the time you took out your insurance policy.
Today's paint mixing technology allows us to use a computer to match your existing paint. We guarantee a paint match for all vehicle manufacturer colors.
